Tecton is currently collaborating with Lexington Partners and InnoConn Construction to create a modern, vibrant mixed-use community on the site of the former Red Lion Hotel and Convention Center just off the interstate on Cromwell’s Berlin Road. This redevelopment of a vacant, blighted property builds on the Town’s Plan of Conservation & Development, with the goals of increasing mixed use density and enhancing visual character, while promoting conservation and active use of the Town’s natural resources. The proposed design integrates sustainable design opportunities and incentives, health and wellness initiatives, and modern and safe residential amenities, and features a mix of commercial/retail space, rental units, townhouses and sheltered parking.
